Lightbench creates "new dimensions of perception". Tom Hanks as Forrest Gump tells about it in the story of his life.

This quotation referred  to the Park-benches in urban areas. They invite us to rest for a while, to have a look around, and to carry on conversations .

The design of the Park-benches marks the picture of the city while they are considered as  visiting cards of it. For the Festival, they will be a part of Jerusalem's landmark.

The new Lightbench of the German artist, Bernd Spiecker, is based on this marking property of the traditional Park-benches, while providing  a totally new enhancing picture to both; the open places and their surrounding environment.
