Illuminated Walts

Twelve figures dressed in glamorous illuminated apparel will ballroom dance around the Old City. The illuminated costumes are the original work of Alon Burger. The costumes were designed with the clothing designer Eilat Shaked. The dancers are from the Horah Jerusalem group.

The doll, which has an illuminated face, moves along the Old City alleyways looking for new friends. The giant, gentle, colorful doll makes you feel that if you are nice enough he will shine his light on you.

Design and Implementation: Michal Ben Anat and Oded Davidovich

Michal Ben Anat- Doll maker, set designer and theatre teacher. Graduate of Kibbutzim College, with a major in theatre directing and set design. For the past to years she has acted as the artistic director for the Adeloyada Parade in Raanana.

Oded Davidovich- Product designer from the field of painting, mechanics and art. Has over ten years of experience is designing and developing products. In 2006 he opened, with Ron Hominer, the studio "DNA Product Designers".
