The History of Light is a light and sound performance that incorporates acrobatics and dance with video screening, lighting effects and pyrotechnics. The performance is composed of pictures that illustrate the main stops in human development, from the discovery of fire until modern day. The Pyromania Group will take the audience on an enthralling journey in time, from the beginning of human society until today.  Acrobats, dancers, fire artists and a circus will use the Old City walls as a gate to the different historical periods. The screening work of the video artist Amit Fisher will change the appearance of the walls. Effects of lighting, smoke, pyrotechnic and laser will complete the visual experience.

The Pyromania Group- An international Israeli group that has been creating for over a decade performances that combines theatre, acrobatics and dance with modern lighting effects and illusions of light and darkness. Pyromania regularly performs at major festivals throughout the world and has an international reputation for its innovations, originality and its fascinating incorporation of classical stage art with modern effects and technology.
